Scholarship Program

From the inception of the MPVA Scholarship program in Oct 2006 until January 2009 we have awarded 67 Scholarships totaling $30,400. These awards, and the success of the MPVA Scholarship program were only made possible thru the generous donations of our MPVA members. The MPVA Scholarship program has experienced the kind of success all our members can be proud of. Scholarship donations are accepted throughout the year and 100% of your Scholarship Fund donation goes directly for Scholarships. If your finances permit, don't forget to do your share.

1. Eligibility:
1. Member's Spouse, Children, and Grandchildren are eligible to apply for MPVA Scholarships.
2. Sponsors of applicants must have been MPVA members as of January 1st of the Scholarship year requested.
2. New Application:
1. Applications may be downloaded from this website, requested in writing or requested by phone from (386) 760-1048.
2. Applications must be complete, and will only be accepted August 1st thru September 30th, and must be postmarked no later than September 30th.
3. Continuing Application:
1. Applicants that have received a previous MPVA Scholarship need only submit:
1. A written request to be considered for a continuation of MPVA Scholarship.
2. A transcript of passing grades for the previous awarded Scholarship semester.
3. An Official class schedule/registration for the requested Scholarship semester.
4. Must be received postmarked no later then September 30th.
4. Award:
1. Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis, the monetary amount will be governed by the annual voluntary donations from the MPVA membership.
2. MPVA Scholarships will be awarded annually in October. Award checks should be mailed out by the 15th of October.
